What You’ll Get to Do:

This position will serve as a Product Specialist in our Entertainment category. An understanding of the Entertainment category's goals, marketing objectives and strategies are required to perform analysis, identify pain points/trends as well as identify market opportunities. Other important functions of this role include daily, weekly and monthly tracking reports of various data points including NPD (New Product Development) industry trends, competitive market analysis and other activities.

PSI (Purchase Sales and Inventory):

  • Collaborate with sales team closely to understand the sales forecast and provide account support
  • Analyze latest POS trends vs sales team forecast and create category sales forecast and purchase plan
  • Prepare PowerPoint presentations to be reported in monthly meeting

Publish weekly dealer POS summary with analysis:

  • Access POS data system to generate weekly reports
  • Share the weekly report to related merchandising group including domain members
  • Follow through with countermeasure analytics

Publish market data report:

  • Run NPD data analysis and generate monthly report with key findings and make recommendation on future promotional strategy
  • Update weekly competitive market reports
  • Communicate with Japan team on latest market conditions

Price monitoring report:

  • Closely monitor online pricing on a daily basis with understanding of implemented weekly promotions by category
  • Publish weekly report for price history in the market

RFA(Requests for Approval):

  • Work with merchandising team members to submit RFA, follow through on approvals
  • All RFAs and budgets require documentation and tracking

Budget tracking:

  • Keep track of approved RFAs and CORFs
  • Work with PMs to review monthly sell-thru and analyze balance from RFA, support true-up to maximize P&L and optimize budget management
  • Bi-weekly meeting with Finance to keep budget tracker accurate

Event / Show support:

  • Work with merchandising and marketing team members to support requirements and execute related marketing events require

Travel and Account Meetings:

  • Travel with merchandising team members and visit key accounts to present and discuss analytics and assist in providing quarterly business review and recommendations

What You’ll Bring:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 1-3 years of experience in consumer electronics industry preferred (internship experience in electronics industry also preferred)
  • Interest in product management, sales and marketing
  • Advanced MS Excel and MS PowerPoint skills
  • Interest and passion for data analytics, analyzing date and using data to tell the story behind the numbers


  • Strong analytical ability & detail oriented
  • Excellent Multi-tasking and time management skills
  • Ability to work outside of regularly scheduled work hours as needed
  • Detail oriented


  • Excellent written and verbal communication skill
  • Communication with merchandising, sales and Japan business units

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to travel up to 10% (may include overnight & some international travel)
