Plan Build Professional 2 (Process Improvement exp. a MUST) San Juan, PR


The Plan Build Professional 2 selects, implements, and loads the system applications that administer plan provisions. The Plan Build Professional 2 work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.


The Plan Build Professional 2 analyzes and maintains required changes for existing health plans driven by market product design, legislative and regulatory needs. Determines required system changes to support new products, services, or efficiencies through design, test, and implementation stages. Ensures adherence of compliance and audit processes, and supports system error resolution and remediation. Supports training and development of procedures. Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas. Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed. Follows established guidelines/procedures.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel (sort pivot tables, compare excel files systematically, etc.)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively within a collaborative environment
  • Embraces Continuous Process Improvement
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Access and SharePoint
  • Experience with SQL and SSRS Reporting
  • Health insurance experience, preferably in claims processing, product development, or customer service
  • Less than 2 years of plan build experience

  • Schedule : Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm. Some Weekends if is necesary.
