Job Description

As business continues to expand and grow we are looking to hire a strong HR Generalist to step up into a Manager role to advise and consultant our Whippany, NJ Business Managers on Human Resource related issues.

This HR Business Partner processes, assesses and anticipates HR-related needs and acts as an employee champion and change agent. She/he communicates needs proactively within our HR department and collaborates with Business Management to develop integrated solutions. S/he will deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives and culture of the organization.

Essential Functions

  • Provides HRBP support by working with respective business leadership on the various stages of an employee life-cycle (i.e., workforce planning, recruitment, on-boarding, coaching and performance management, employee development/training, compensation programs and off boarding); proactively develops HR solutions that support the business strategies and achievement of company objectives.
  • Interprets company policies and practices to provide direction and counsel to members of the management team and employees using creative and practical solutions to proactively anticipate, prevent and resolve business issues.
  • Provides guidance, and may support the development, revision and audit of HR administrative processes such as promotions and employee status changes.
  • Manages employee data integrity; successfully handles HR Audits
  • Other duties or projects as assigned (i.e., development, implementation, and evaluation of company-wide programs or policies and/or addresses attraction and retention issues.
Knowledge of HR processes that make up the employee life-cycle such as recruitment, on-boarding, coaching, compensation planning, performance management, discipline, off-boarding

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills

Bachelor's degree or the equivalent work experience desired; PHR/SPHR certificate preferred

7 years of full cycle HR Generalist experience; previous experience in a multi-state/multi-facility business environment
